I’ve always loved photography and capturing memories – here is my “first photograph” that I staged and took all by myself at the age of 4 – cute, right?? That’s my sister Deb and our dolls, in our very 1970s den – you can even catch a glimpse of our Woody Woodpecker “bop bag” in the corner.
Since childhood, I’ve had everything from a polaroid, to a Kodak Disk, to a Nikon DSLR. I took a photography class in high school, and even learned how to develop my own film – but it wasn’t until 2016 that I found photography as an actual form of expression for myself. It’s my art and my way of seeing the world. Since this personal renaissance, I have learned countless things about photography that have changed how I see the world and capture it – shout out to the BPW (Boston Photography Workshops) and the awesome Chris Sanchez! My preferred subjects are landscapes, astrophotography, Disney, and flowers. However, take one look at my phone and you will notice that the real object of my photographic affection is my dog Coco 😉
Our phones have made it incredibly easy to photography EVERYthing, but that doesn’t make everything art.
